In any crib is a figurine of China on the laundry laundry basket next to the stream or right next to the cave, with outstretched arms in the air to raise a child or little shirts of white linen cloth. Will she have washed the first bands of the Child? We imagine the laundress of the crib like a little ‘midwife, maybe one of those women who took care of the bodies from the cradle to the grave. From Christmas to the Passion: the story of a woman of the people, concrete, lively, simple, a woman of heart experienced the joys and sorrows of the world.
Among backdrops, torrents of aluminum foil, Snow made of flour, see through his story that Christmas, the first, mysterious event in the eyes of common people, and in his memories and songs of laundry recognize the story of a woman who still wants to believe in a world where, as Isaiah says, does not close the eyes of those who see and the ears of those who feel they must be careful.
The show, born in the theatrical tradition of the story of the poor and jesters, is nourished by the Gospel story, mythical and fairy-tale elements of the non-canonical gospels, collects the assets of the anthropology of the Christmas festivities and memories collected from residents of Piedmont in the project ecomuseums Archive of popular theater, home of the pioneers.
